The Series I and II of the Australian rendition of the Chinese Zodia have been wildly successful. Some collectors and investors faithfully collected each of the previous releases over a period of 24 years. This, of course, is rare, and only the most faithful can boast of having each of the previous sets.

The first coin in the series features the Year of the Mouse, and it is limited to a worldwide mintage of only 300,000 coins.
The obverse of these silver coins features two small field mice climbing up a cornstalk and eating the corn. To their right are the words “MOUSE 2020” and the Chinese symbol for mouse. The Perth mintmark is also imprinted in the bottom right of the coin.
